Exclamation 02 cavlier z24 wiring diagram

whats up guys? im new to the site and i just picked up a 2002 cavalier z24 with which has the quad 4 and im looking for a wiring schematic for the engine. well my temperature gauge is not working so i checked to see if the coolant sensor is getting any power, which it is not, so i wanted to check the source to see if the terminal is bad or what not. if someone can point me in the right direction it would be a great help.

thanks
devin

You can take a look at the Haynes manual for '95-'05 Cavaliers & Sunfires, they have some wiring diagrams in there, and I am almost sure that the Chilton's manual should have some in their manual, too!

Haynes manual has the diagram you need. The coolant sensor runs directly to the PCM (yellow=sensor input, brown=sensor ground)

Yeah, Zuki thanks for the info, the Haynes manual is the one I now have & use. When I can, I'll get the Chilton's one just as a comparison.

Check www.factorymanuals.com or Ebay. You may be able to pick up a factory shop manual cheap. I think I blew $150 on a new set.

That's nice. I am in the market for a '98 or '99 Cavalier owner's manual, particularily a Z24 model. I don't mind if it's used or not.
