Oh, really? My bad, i just see them said as two different things. And i've looked it up and the 98 model has a different 2.2L engine than the 97. Well, in the pictures i'm finding of this WAI kit, there are two places where hoses could connect to the aluminum tube. I have no clue what they're for, and i'm just curious as to their purpose.

well if one is for a hose that plugs into the engine headyou want a breather filterto it, im not sure y there would be a second one tho, im not very familar with these models, im more familaier with a 2000-2003 model. its ok dude, we all make mistakes, not a problem, i have made a few here and there myself

I'm not exactly trying to make my car more "cool". I just heard that they are some of the simpler and easier mods i can do to get a better performing car

And about the intake, i guess i'll just find out when i get it. But you're telling me to get a breather filter to the valve cover instead of connecting the tube that connects the intake to the valve cover? I'm guessing the second inlet is for that sensor...

I'm getting one of these from my friend, i don't know exactly which one. But, it's showing that for 98-02 models, the little inlets for the tubes are on the opposite side of the intake for the 95-97 models. So maybe this could be a proof that there are slight differences between the model year's engines.

Man, i love un painted bumpers. I love how i am actually the ONLY car in my junior parking lot, that has unpainted bumpers. I checked. Lol. Looks good with steelies too.

Yes that is what I'm saying it is for a sensor and yes get a breather filter it will get more air into the engine block instead of taking air from the intake its taking it straight out of the filter, but If tou go to a cold air where filter is in fender then connect it to the piping because it will allow cold air into the engine block

Wouldn't the sensor need to be plugged directly into the aluminum intake pipe? I just think that if it's plugged into the rubber hose, that it wouldn't really work that well...

yes auto zone has a air sensor adapter by spectre cost 10 dollars, and the sensor should plug into it, the hose im talking about plugs into the top of the block if you want it to also be plugged into the air intake pipe

Well, i'll just have to figure it out when i get it tomorrow. But today, i'm going to definitely try some of that stuff on that link that was posted earlier. Has anyone else tried any of that?
